Stampa Sistem is a Serbian press distributor, which operates 500 newspaper kiosks and 50 shops situated mainly in Belgrade, employing about 1,800 people. The state-owned company was fully-acquired by the German WAZ Media Group in 2008. WAZ Media Group also owns a majority stake in Belgrade-based daily Politika and the Dnevnik daily, based in Novi Sad. The media group has 34 daily newspapers with a circulation of over 2.5 million copies, 18 weekly newspapers and 176 popular magazines.
At the beginning of 2011 WAZ sold Stampa Sistem to the local food group Centroproizvod for an undisclosed sum.
