Vilaconic Joint Stock Company (Vietnam)

Founded in 2010 in Nghe An Province, the subject is engaged in trading and manufacturing construction materials namely asphalt and plastic sheets for walls, ceilings and doors as well as exporting agricultural products such as rice (primarily), peppercorn, coffee, etc. The subject chiefly imports asphalt from Iran, Singapore and Malaysia and then, it distributes these products to Northern provinces. Agricultural products are exported to European countries, Middle East, Laos, China and Japan so on. Besides, the subject also provides freight transportation services with goods of bricks and iron from Vietnam to Laos and ore & cassava from Laos to Vietnam.According to the chief accountant, over 50% of the subject's sales are brought from exporting agricultural product activities and around 35% come from freight transportation services currently. Thanks to focusing on these business activities, its total sales hit over one trillion dongs in the last two years. However, it has suffered reduced freight rates since mid-2023 because of reduced export orders due to rocketed rice prices as well as reduced freight rates. Anyway, with a good business result in the first four months of 2023, the company still generated nearly VND 700 billion of revenue in the first seven months of this year, equaling about 68% of total sales in the whole of 2022.
