Taiwan Tea Corporation (Taiwan, China)

Taiwan Tea Corp. was established in 1950 and has four branch companies ? respectively Taiwan aquatic products, tea, pineapple and livestock companies. In January 1955, with the Government’s policy of implementing the land to the tiller, Taiwan Tea Corp. carried out the private transfer, dispensing the pineapple, livestock, aquaculture branches into independent sub-sale business. Tea and aquatic plants are remained under the same name Taiwan Tea Corp. Now the Government holds 0.42% of its stock, and the private stock accounted for 99.58%. In October 1986 it established Department of Trade to develop new business, trading for a variety of goods. In recent years it expanded in marketing and constructive materials trading. In December 1996, it invested and acted as agent for Biyajiu Locomotive.
