In 1957 the company was established at San Ming district of Kaohsiung city and moved to Kangshan, Kaohsiung county in 1975. In 1994 the company was authenticated by BVQI as a qualified ISO-9002 enterprise and approved by Taiwan Securities Exchange as a listed company on November 29. In 1999 the plant in Mainland China was established and started operation. The company established Ziyong Hardware Products (Taicang) Co. Ltd. in 2004, Formflex Metal Industrial (Changshu) Co. Ltd. in 2005, Fortune Packing Material (Changshu) Co. Ltd. in 2007, and Arctek Industrial Co. Ltd. in 2009. Taiwan Fu Hsing Industrial Co., Ltd. is principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of door locks and related accessories. The company provides door locks, door closers, and panic exit devices, which are applied in the provision of a secure and convenient environment, among others. During the year 2010, the company obtained approximately 86% of its total revenue from door metal products. The company distributes its products in domestic markets and overseas markets, including North America, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, among others.
