T.H.I. Group Ltd. was founded on February 4, 1987. In August 2001 it acquired and merged Taihua International Co., Ltd., Taihua Air Freight Forwarding Co., Ltd., and Lianyun Sea Freight Forwarding Co., Ltd. into the newly-incorporated company “Unitainer System Forwarder Inc. And in November 2001 it was renamed T.H.I. Group Ltd. The company made IPO in July 2006 and in April 2007 it was listed on the Emerging Stock Market. Among sea freight forwarding companies, T.H.I. is the first one listed in Taiwan. T.H.I. Group is a global leading freight and logistics enterprise providing extensive and professional services in sea/air/land freight forwarding, distribution, customs clearance, warehousing and logistics. THI has expanded its business network to other countries and regions and established its worldwide reputation. Due to our long-term experiences and robust business network in China, it now has 37 branches in Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, etc. At the same time, with over 300 partners and agencies worldwide, it has created a global service network covering Asia, America, and Europe. During the year ended December 31, 2009, the company obtained approximately 72% and 14% of its total revenue from marine cargo import transportation and air cargo import transportation services, respectively.
