Formerly known as Shinih Cotton Co., Ltd., the company was established on September 14, 1962 and renamed Shinih Enterprise Co., Ltd. The company made public offering on July 16, 1998 and was listed in OTC on January 16, 2001. Since 2001 it started to set up the Hangzhou Plant and Tangshan Plant in Mainland, China. The company was listed on Taiwan Stock Exchange officially on August 26, 2002. The company is engaged in the manufacture and sale of non-woven fabrics and bedding products. It provides its products under three categories: non-woven fabrics, such as resin cotton, vertical fiber, pinprick cotton, water-mangle fabric and spunbond filament non-woven fabric; beddings, which are marketed under its own brands and imported brands, as well as non-woven fabrics for automobile interior decoration, floor mats, carpets, cushions and tatamis. During the year 2009, the non-woven products and bedding products contributed approximately 83% and 10% of the company's total revenue, respectively.
