Merida Industry Co., Ltd (MIC) is a Taiwan based bicycle design, manufacture, and sales company. It was started in 1972 as a small contract shop with 57 employees under a Japanese bicycle parts brand, by current chairman D.H. Ike, Tseng. In 1992 approved by Securities and Exchange Commission, the company became the first listed bicycle company. Merida Industry Co., Ltd. was established in 1972 and located in Zhang Hua.
