The company was listed in OTC in June 1998 and was listed on Taiwan Stock Exchange in May 2000. Hwa Fong is principally engaged in the manufacture, processing, distribution and trading of tires and other rubber products. The company provides bicycle tires, agricultural and industrial tires, locomotive tires, truck tires, automobile tires, radial tires and other rubber products. The company's radial tires are applied in sedans, recreational and leisure vehicles, as well as trailers. During the year ended December 31, 2009, the company obtained approximately 28.88%, 25.1% and 24.72% of its total revenue from its locomotive tire, radial tire, as well as agricultural and industrial tire businesses, respectively. The company distributes its products in the domestic market and to overseas markets, including the rest of Asia, the Americas, Australia and Europe.
