In March 1966 Wo Hing Industrial Society was created in Justice Street in Taichung processing machinery, the gear of the locomotives and agricultural machinery and the shaft parts. In January 1973 Wo Da Industrial Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was set up. In December 1975 the name was changed into Wo Da Industrial Development Co., Ltd. In January 1982 the accuracy level of the precise gear reached JIS standard. In February 1990 the company was restructured and renamed as Wo Da Industrial Co., Ltd.. In June 1995 it passed the QS9000 quality assurance certification by the Ministry of Economic Affairs Bureau of Commodity Inspection cum British Standards Institution(BSI).In April 1998, it passed the ISO-9002 quality assurance certification by the Ministry of Economic Affairs Bureau of Commodity Inspection cum British Standards Institution(BSI).In June the U.S. subsidiary called Wo Da Science and Technology Co.,Ltd. was set up. In September 2001,the company went listed.
