In 2005, it acquired the license for “Maple Story”, the first free casual online game in Taiwan. This opened up a younger market for online games, setting a new gaming trend. In 2007, it acquired the license for “Kart Rider,” which became the largest casual game in Taiwan with up to 3.8 million players and launched its first self-developed online game “Bright Shadow” and 30,000 players signed up for it right away and established Foundation Digital Entertainment Corporation for whole new video games and media business . In 2008, it established the “Gamania Cheer Up Foundation” to encourage the 16 to 22 year-old age group to “Dare to Dream and Stay True to Yourself” and independently-developed title “Zodiac” awarded one of the best game and best rookie from WebMoney, Japan. In 2009, it established the R&D subsidiaries PLAYCOO Corporation, SEEDO Games, and entered the USA market and established Gamania(US). In 2010, it successfully launching into the global market, Gamania’s “Hero: 108” premiered March 1 in the US, Britain, and later entered the European market and established Gamania(EU). Gamania started with games and that’s still its main activity and mechandize.
