Formerly known as Dazhong Computer Co., Ltd., FIC Global, Inc. was founded in 1979.In May 1991,the company's shares were approved of public offering of stock by Securities and Exchange Commission Ministry of Finance. In August, the company emerged in stock market. In April 1992, its stock went listed in OTC market. In 1993, it was approved to set up a branch in Hsinchu Science Park engaging in the research and manufacturing of high-function integrated circuit chip set and memory cards. Since then, the company entered the field of semiconductor IC.
