Intema's main activity is the manufacture and distribution of kitchen and bathroom furniture, bathtubs, tiles, ready kitchens and building materials. Intema has information and sales centres in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Adana, Antalya and Bursa and also operates a franchising chain of 61 stores. Intema offers a wide range of products including Vitra and Artema products, Bulthaup ready-made kitchens, Selena ready-made kitchen and bathroom furniture, Ideal Standard bathtubs, Franke sinks, as well as consultancy services on design and installation. Intema was formed by Eczacibasi Group and Vitra authorized agents in 1978 and was listed on the Istanbul Stock Exchange in 1990.
