Doğtaş Kelebek Mobilya Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, located in Istanbul, is a company that was founded in 1972 in Biga, Çanakkale. It offers a wide range of products including living rooms, dining rooms, teens' and children's rooms, bedrooms, and Turkey's first CE certified Medical Class beds. The company is known for its uniquely designed models that meet international quality standards. Additionally, Doğtaş is recognized as one of the pioneers in the sustainable furniture industry, as it uses fabric recycled from PET bottles in its seats. Kelebek Furniture, established in 1935, is one of the oldest industrial establishments in the Turkish Republic. Initially, it produced plywood for aircraft wings under the Kelebek brand in Haliç, Istanbul. In 1978, the company entered into a technical cooperation agreement with renowned project groups and established a modular furniture factory in Düzce, which is one of the largest and most modern facilities in Europe. Kelebek Furniture currently manufactures furniture, bathroom and kitchen sets, living room sets, and custom-made wooden hardware using advanced technologies in an area of 186,000 m2 in Düzce, with 40,000 m2 of it being closed. In 2012, Doğtaş merged with Kelebek Furniture, strengthening its position in the furniture market. Since then, the company has been operating under the name Doğtaş Kelebek Mobilya San. ve Tic. AŞ., which includes the brands Doğtaş, Kelebek Furniture, Kelebek Kitchen & Bathroom, and Lova, as well as its project department. As of 2022, the Doğanlar Furniture Group continues its operations in Turkey and abroad under this new commercial title.
