The company was founded as the first cement factory in Turkey in 1910 under the name "Memalik-i Osmaniyye’de Sun’i Cimento ve Hidrolik Kirec Imalina Mahsus Arslan Osmanli A.S.”. In 2009 was associated to OYAK group of companies and renamed to Aslan Cimento.
Aslan Cimento produces cement and clinker in various types. The factory was initially with production capacity of 20.000 ton/year and nowadays is increased to annual production capacity of clinker 1.2 million tons and 3.4 million tons of cement. The company has also own pier used for export and import.
