Uralskaya Stal AO is a leading Russian manufacturer of strip steel for large-diameter pipes, pipe blanks, thick sheets, and bridge steel. The company produces over 100 grades of carbon and alloy steels. It is one of the top eight steel producers in Russia. The company's history dates back to the pre-war period, but it officially began on March 5, 1955, when the first blast furnace was launched and the first pig iron was produced at the Orsk-Khalilov Metallurgical Plant (now known as Uralskaya Stal). This day is considered the birth of the metallurgical giant in the eastern Orenburg region. In 2022, Uralskaya Stal became part of a unified metallurgical holding together with Zagorsk Pipe Plant. This integration allows the company to establish stable production connections and expand the utilization of its products in major oil and gas and construction projects.
