Territorial Generating Company 2 OAO (TGC -2) was established by the Board of Directors of RAO UES of Russia on February 25, 2005. Shaping principle of TGC-2 is accession to the regional generating companies formed as a result of reorganization of RAO UES. TGC-2 is one of the largest thermal power companies of the North and North-Western Russia. The company is engaged in production of electricity and heat, as well as the sale of heat (steam and hot water) to consumers.
