Gold mining Holding Seligdar was created in 2008 based on the assets of Artel Seligdar and other gold mining companies. Holding (originally as part of Artel Seligdar), since 1996, has successfully developed technology for extracting gold heap leaching. This technology was first used in the climatic conditions of Yakutia. In the process of development of industrial activities in the Artel had gained considerable industrial experience in applying this new technology, out of qualified industry experts. Mining of gold heap leaching can achieve a much lower cost compared with other methods of extraction. For 2012 Seligdar and its subsidiaries have produced more than 3020 kg gold and silver in gold equivalent.
