Slovenske Elektrarne, A.S., S.A. - Oddzial w Polsce is the Polish branch of Slovenske Elektrarne a.s., the main electricity utility in Slovakia. The branch operates in electricity-related activities, mainly electricity trading, and is registered for additional activities including trade in gaseous fuels, wholesale of fuels, engineering consultancy and construction-related services connected with the energy sector. It supports the commercialisation of electricity on the Polish market, cross-border trade and representation of the group in dealings with Polish partners and regulators. The parent company operates a diversified generation portfolio including nuclear and hydroelectric power plants as well as renewable assets, supplying most of Slovak electricity with very low direct carbon emissions.
