Opel Manufacturing Poland is the second biggest manufacturer of passenger cars in Poland. The company belongs to the Opel / Vauxhall group, which is the European division of General Motors. The plant is producing personal cars and engines. The company's headquarters is located in Gliwice, where about 3,500 people are employed. In 2008, production output achieved the level of 171,6 thousand passenger cars, or 20% of domestic production volume.
