Central Sports Center (Centralny Osrodek Sportu) is a Polish public-sector budgetary institution specialized in creating and managing conditions for sports training for Olympic and national teams (seniors and juniors) and delivering public tasks in the field of physical culture. The organization operates a nationwide infrastructure platform of Olympic Preparation Centers and related facilities that provide training bases, sports venues, and supporting services for national sports federations and other sport entities. Its operational footprint includes seven Olympic Preparation Centers located in Spala, Wladyslawowo, Gizycko, Walcz, Szczyrk, Zakopane and Duszniki-Zdroj, forming a distributed network of high-performance training assets. In addition to elite sport training support, COS utilizes its organizational, technical and accommodation base to provide services promoting sport and tourism, organize educational conferences and training events, and deliver tourism and physical recreation services for individuals and family recreation. Key assets include the Olympic Preparation Centers themselves, with their sports infrastructure, accommodation capacity and event organization capability. Strategically, COS is positioned as Polands centralized institutional platform for elite sport preparation and multi-site sports infrastructure management, combining high-performance training support with complementary hospitality, conference and recreation service lines enabled by its facility base.
