Banco Multiva Institucion de Banca Multiple S.A. (Mexico)

Banco Multiva Institucion de Banca Multiple S.A. is a financial institution located in Mexico City. It was incorporated in 1980 as Multivalores Casa de Bolsa, marking the beginning of its solid and dynamic trajectory in the Mexican financial system. In September 1985, it started operating as Interamericana Casa de Cambio, which later transformed into Multiva Casa de Cambio three years later. In 1991, Multivalores Casa de Bolsa obtained authorization to form Multivalores Grupo Financiero, which included Multiva Arrendadora and Multiva Factoring. In late 2000, Multivalores Sociedad Operadora de Sociedades de Inversión was established and began operations in December 2001. At the same time, the Casa de Cambio was merged with the Grupo Financiero. Since then, Multivalores Grupo Financiero has experienced consistent growth in profitability and equity capital. In 2006, Grupo Financiero Multiva became part of the Grupo Empresarial Ángeles family, one of the most successful and diversified conglomerates in the Mexican business context. Grupo Empresarial Ángeles has the largest private hospital network in the country, the most important hotel chain, media companies, an insurance company, and construction companies.
