Sepahan Cement Company Public Joint Stock (Iran)

Sepahan Cement Co . was established on 04.02.1970 aiming at cement production through establishing two production lines with a capacity of 3300 metric tons of clinker /24 hrs for each line and this company was recorded under Reg.#14617 with Tehran Registry for industrial Estates on 18.04.1971.The first production line in June 1979 and the second production line in 1981 , respectively, began operating.In view of deficiency of cement in the country in the recent years, which is one of the main negative factors in stop of civil projects in Iran, Sepahan cement Company has started performing some studies and researches for the construction of a new production line with the capacity of 3300 tons clinker / day in a land with an approximate area of SQM 100,000.in this project around 2160 tons of mechanical and electrical equipment have been purchased from external companies and 6997 tons of the said equipment has been manufactured by internal companies .Mechanized equipment installation operations were started in June 2006 and the 1st and 2nd phase was completed in March, 2008 .Electrical equipment installation was also started in July ,2007 and completed in May, 2008 . The 3rd production line of the company was inaugurated by the minister of Mines and industries and them it was operated . The annual nominal capacity of the plant is 2.4 million tons of cement . The production capacity of the company was increased to 4 million tons of cement / year after the operation of the 3rd production line.
