PT Solusi Tunas Pratama Tbk (STP) is an independent tower company based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Founded in 2006, it has become one of the leading tower companies in the country. STP's core business involves leasing out spaces for antennas and supporting equipment at its multi-tenant tower sites to Indonesian mobile telecommunication operators. These lease agreements typically have a contractual term of 10 years. STP operates telecommunications tower assets in 34 provinces across Indonesia, with a majority of its sites located in Java and Sumatra, which are the most densely populated islands in the country. In October 2021, STP was officially acquired by PT Professional Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Protelindo), a subsidiary of PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk. This acquisition is expected to provide STP with a stronger foundation to serve its customers and stakeholders. As of December 31, 2021, STP owned and operated 6,949 towers with 12,846 tenancies, resulting in a tenancy ratio of 1.85x. The company operates in two segments: Tower Rental and Other Services. Its main focus is on managing and leasing base transceiver station (BTS) towers. STP operates various types of towers, including greenfield towers located in rural areas and rooftop towers situated in urban areas. Additionally, the company has a portfolio of land fiber optic cables in several cities in Indonesia, as well as an underwater fiber optic network connecting Java to Kalimantan, Java to Sumatra, and Batam to Singapore. PT Solusi Tunas Pratama Tbk is a subsidiary of PT Profesional Telekomunikasi Indonesia.
