SV Pojistovna A.S. is an insurance company located in Prague. It was founded in 1994 under the name VICTORIA pojišťovna, a.s. and later renamed ERGO pojišťovna, a.s. in 2012. As a holder of a universal insurance license, SV Pojistovna offers a wide range of insurance products to its clients. They specialize in travel insurance, health insurance for foreigners, pilot liability insurance, and extended warranty insurance. They also focus on property insurance, liability insurance, life insurance, and accident insurance. Since November 4, 2021, ERGO pojišťovna is owned by S.V. Holding AG. S.V. Holding AG is also the 100% owner of Sparkassen-Versicherung Sachsen Lebensversicherung AG and Sparkassen-Versicherung Sachsen Allgemeine Versicherung AG. The shareholders and founders of S.V. Holding AG are through holding companies of Saxon Savings Bank and the southern German insurance company Bayern-Versicherung AG based in Munich and SV Sparkassen Versicherung based in Stuttgart.
