Luzhou Laojiao Co., Ltd is a state-owned holding company with over 400 years of brewing history. Located in Luzhou, it is a listed company. The company owns the oldest (established in 1573), continuously used, and best-preserved 1573 national treasure cellar group in China. In December 1996, it was approved by the State Council as the first national key cultural relic protection unit in the industry. In 2006, it was included in the "World Cultural Heritage Tentative List" by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage. In November 2012, the Luzhou Laojiao workshop group was once again selected for the "China World Cultural Heritage Tentative List". In March 2013, the Luzhou Laojiao 1619 cellar, 16 Ming and Qing brewing workshops, and three natural wine caves were also selected as the seventh batch of national key cultural relic protection units. The "Traditional Brewing Techniques of Luzhou Laojiao Liquor" is the only representative of Sichuan liquor and China's strong-flavored Baijiu, and it was included in the first batch of "National Intangible Cultural Heritage List" in May 2006, making the company the first in the industry to have "dual national treasures". The company implements a brand strategy of "dual brand shaping and multi-brand operation" and a sustainable development strategy. With the liquor industry as its core, it combines traditional manufacturing with capital operation to achieve expansion and become a large modern conglomerate integrated into economic globalization. The goal is to build Luzhou Laojiao into a "carrier in the global alcoholic beverage market" and make it a backbone enterprise in the global alcoholic beverage industry.
