The promoters to the establishment of the company are Hebei Hengshui Laobaigan Liquor-making (Group) Co., Ltd., Hengshui Jin’an Group Ltd., Hengshui Ceramics Plant, Hebei Nongda High-Tech Development Head Office, China Magnetic Record Equipment Tianjin Co. and Tianjin Tianqing Food Ferment Development Co. With the approval of China Securities Regulatory Commission, the company’s A shares were listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange on October 29, 2002. The company is principally engaged in manufacture and distribution of liquors, breeding and distribution of commodity pigs and boars for reproduction, as well as the sales of animal feed and phytase. The company’s major products are Hengshui Laobaigan liquor products. It has three subsidiaries including Hengshui Laobaigan Liquor Corporation, Xingya Feed Corporation and Jin’an Corporation, one joint-stock company of Hebei Seghers Pig Breeding Co., Ltd., a Sino-Belgium joint venture (share holding 42%). Xinya Feed Corporation has become the biggest-scale production base for breeding lean meat pigs and commodity pigs in North China. During the year ended December 31, 2010, the liquor products accounted for approximately 95.6% of the company’s total revenue. The company distributes its products primarily in North China and other regions.
