Jinan Diesel Engine Company Limited (JDEC) was formed in 1920 and was incorporated as a joint stock limited company in January, 1996. The company was listed on Oct. 22, 1996 on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. The company is the only internal combustion engine manufacturer enterprise under CNPC (China National Petroleum Corporation). JDEC is a manufacturer of non-road high- and medium-speed, high- and medium-power diesel engines and gas engines. The company is primarily engaged in the manufacture, distribution, leasing and repairing of diesel engines, diesel gensets, gas engines and gas gensets. The company's products include 190 series 200-2400 kilowatt (kW) diesel engines, 160-2000kW diesel gensets, 20-1100kW gas engines and 18-1000kW gas gensets, under the brand name of Jichai. JDEC has received certificates of BV, ISO9001, ISO13001, CE, HSE, CCS. The company distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets.
