IPAL S.A. is a company located in Santiago, Chile. It was founded in 1952 and initially focused on producing dehydrated foods in the country. Over the years, the company expanded its business and underwent a corporate reorganization in 2005. IPAL is now a holding company with several subsidiaries, each operating in a specific business sector. One of its subsidiaries, Hendaya, is a major supplier in the national school feeding program run by Junaeb. Another subsidiary, Innovalim, produces prepared foods using advanced Cook and Chill technology. They supply the institutional market, restaurants, retail casinos, and service companies. Proalsa, another subsidiary, manufactures breakfast cereals, cereal bars, snacks, powdered milk, and dehydrated products such as mixes and broths. They are the main supplier of private label brands for retail chains and also develop product categories for third parties and provide food for the institutional and concessionaire markets. The company focuses on constant development and innovation in line with food trends in the country. IPAL's subsidiary, Rentas Paine Grande, is responsible for the development, construction, and management of real estate projects under a recurring rental model. Lastly, Vértice, another subsidiary, offers tourism services in the most attractive regions of Chile. It is located in one of the country's iconic national parks, Torres del Paine National Park.
