Farmacias Cruz Verde S.A. is a company dedicated to the health, care and welfare of its clients. To achieve this goal the company has more than 650 locations, two Mobile Pharmacies and more than 5,500 employees throughout the country, including Easter Island. Its focus on growth seeks to get closer to people and that they can easily and comfortably access both medicines and natural products as well as such for hygiene, beauty and personal care. The history of pharmacies of that chain dates back to the early 1980s with Mr. Guillermo Harding Estay, a Pharmaceutical Chemist by profession, who, with a strong service orientation, was responsible for giving the community greater access to medicines. On January 2, 1984, the company opened its first store of the Cruz Verde Pharmacy chain in Viña del Mar, V Region, which continued with the opening of 5 more stores during the next 8 months.
