Minsk Automobile Plant OAO is a management company of Belavtomaz Holding, a Belarusian automotive company specializing in production of heavy-duty automobile, as well as bus, trolley and trailer equipment. The plant manufactures truck tractors, airborne, medium-tonnage vehicles, dump trucks, timber trucks, log trucks, off-road cars, chassis cars for all kinds of special equipment and installations, as well as buses and trolleybuses. In total MAZ produces more than 4 thousand models and modifications of cars, 12 basic models of buses. It is part of the system of enterprises of the Ministry of Industry of Belarus. Since 1995, the Minsk Automobile Plant produces passenger vehicles. City, intercity, tourist and special buses successfully operate on various routes around the world.
