The Company was incorporated on April 15, 1961 from the merger of Reckitt Colman PLC and Benckiser N.V.
The name of the company was changed to (Robinson s Foods(Bangaldesh) Limited) under a special resolution on August 24, 1972. On March 20, 1986 in an extra ordinary general meeting, the name of the company was changed again to (Reckitt and Colman Bangaladesh limited).
The Company s name was again changed to (Reckitt Benckiser (Bangaldesh) limited), under an extra ordinary general meeting held on November 9, 2000 after the merge with Benckiser in accordance with parent company.
It is a Public Limited Company and its shares were listed on Dhaka Stock Exchange limited in 1987 and Chittagong Stock Exchange limited in 11 June 1995.
On March 23, 2023, Reckitt Benckiser (Bangladesh) Limited changed its name to Reckitt Benckiser (Bangladesh) PLC.
