Bosnian steam heating utility Toplana a.d. Banja Luka was set up in 1970 when the building of Banja Luka’s central heating system began. The company is headquartered in the capital of the Serb Republic which, together with the Muslim-Croat federation, make up post-war Bosnia.
Toplana Banja Luka delivers heat to some 23,000 flats and more than 620 business customers.
It operates more than 150 km of pipeline network and over 200 substations.
The company also operates 12,500 sq m of fuel oil warehouse area, storing more than the half of the city’s fuel needs for the heating season.
