Central Termica Roca is located in the town of General Roca, Rio Negro and was acquired by the Albanesi Group in 2011. It has a General Electric model PG9171E turbine, with 130MW nominal generation capacity with all its instalations: gas pipeline, high voltage line and transformers. The beginning of the commercial operation was in June 2012. As of July 2013 the plant was available to operate with liquid fuel as an alternative fuel.
