Zeleznice Srbije A.D. Beograd is a joint-stock company located in Belgrade, Serbia. It was established on July 2, 2015, following a decision by the Serbian Government to change the status of "Serbian Railways" and create new joint-stock companies. The company operates as one of the four joint-stock companies under the Serbian Railways group, alongside "Serbian Railways Infrastructure," "Serbia Train," and "Serbia Cargo." The main objective of Zeleznice Srbije A.D. Beograd is to address the historical debts and surplus property of Serbian Railways, as well as support the reform of the railway sector. The company has approximately 130 employees and is involved in various activities such as engineering and technical consulting, information technology services, real estate transactions, accounting, and leasing of machinery and equipment. Zeleznice Srbije A.D. Beograd also serves as the founder of several subsidiaries, including the Department of Health Care Workers of Serbian Railways and the Traffic Institute CIP.
