VIK was founded on March 8, 1964. In the composition and location of the food processing plant Zitobanat vrhac, in 1983, it changed its location and moved to Stepa Stepanovica 6 Vrsac.
In 1989, the OOOU VIK stands out from the RO Vojvodina Vrsac and is organized as DP VIK Vrsac. In 1990, a change in the organization from the DP enters DD3 in 1995. The VIK is joined by the trade company Promet under the name Metal Vrsac. In 1996, VIK was joined by INVEST VIK DD for construction, in 2001 it was organized as AD VIK.
