Komercijalna Banka, which was founded in 1970, provides general banking and trust services for business, industry and individuals.
Komercijalna Banka corporate banking services include commercial loans, including working capital facilities and trade finance, foreign exchange, capital market services, cash management and non-credit services, such as payroll and payment services.
The bank provides individual customers with credit cards, residential mortgage, auto and consumer loans, as well as traditional deposit services, such as checking and savings accounts and time deposits.
In 2001-2002, Komercijalna merged with two smaller local banks – Jugobanka a.d. Krusevac and Dunav banka a.d. Beograd.
In 2003, Komercijalna set foot in the coastal Adriatic republic of Montenegro by opening a subsidiary in the resort town of Budva.
In January 2010, EBRD, IFC Capitalization Fund, DEG (Deutsche Investitutions und Entwicklungsgesellschaft) and Swedfund International signed a contract with the Serbian authorities on EUR 120 million capital increase of Komercijalna banka.
The lender operates through a network of more than 250 branches throughout the country.
Komercijalna Banka is the second largest bank in Serbia in terms of total assets as of fiscal year 2015.
