The company was founded on February 10, 2006 under the business name Public News Company The word Naroda Pozarevac and was socially owned. It was privatized at an auction held in Belgrade on May 31, 2007, when 70 of its socially owned capital was purchased by a consortium of natural persons, who concluded with the Privatization Agency a contract on the sale of social capital by the public auction method.
