Serbia's sweets maker Bambi, was founded in 1967 and is headquartered in the central Serbian town of Pozarevac. It produces a wide range of confectionery products such as biscuits and bars, wafers, sandwich biscuits, tea biscuits, snack bars, chocolate bars, dark, milk and white chocolate, salted snacks, pralines. The company operates four factories - Bambi 1 and Bambi 2, located in Pozarevac and Banat 1 and Banat 2 - in Vrsac. The annual production of the firm is more than 25,000 tonnes.
In June 2005, Bambi merged with local sweets maker Banat, which is also controlled by Salford.
