The main activities of the subject are investing, managing, operating and trading clean water supply systems. The subject has three founding shareholders including Saigon Water Corporation (Sawaco) - 60%, Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Corporation (REE) - 30%, Water Supply Sewerage Construction and Investment Joint Stock Company (Waseco) - 10%. Sawaco and Waseco are one of the biggest companies in the water field in Ho Chi Minh City. On the other hand, REE is also a strong company in the refrigeration electrical field in Vietnam.The subject has a project named “Thu Duc Water Plant Phase III” with a capacity of 300,000 m3/day. In Dec 2015, Thu Duc Water Plant officially operated, providing the first clean water to the people. The plant has contributed to increasing the production of clean water supply for the city people. With modern technology from the Federal Republic of Germany, up to now, the capacity of the plant has reached more than 300,000 m³/day, contributing nearly 15% to the total water generation capacity of Ho Chi Minh City. Since then, contributed to the realization of the target that 100% of the city's households have access to clean water.
