KOVA paint brand was created by Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoe's family in 1998. Presently, she is the subject's chairwoman. Besides the subject, she is also managing and contributing capital to some companies such as KOVA NANOPRO COMPANY LIMITED, KOVA TRAFFIC PAINT COMPANY LIMITED... She is also the founder and director of the KOVA Prize fund. It is said that all financial resources of this fund are taken from welfare funds of KOVA Paint companies.The subject is active as a manufacturer of paint with a wide range of products such as interior paint, exterior paint, special decorative paints, industrial paint, traffic paint, waterproofing products, etc. The subject's products are supplied in the local market through its agent system nationwide. KOVA brand is one of the most well-known paint firms in Vietnam now, besides Dulux (Netherlands), Jotun (Norway), Nippon (Japan), TOA (Thailand), Mykolor (Thailand), Kansai (Japan)... According to the Vietnam Paint - Printing Ink Association (VPIA), Vietnam has about 600  enterprises that are operating in the paint and coatings industry, in which there are about 70 FDI companies. In the five recent years, products of FDI companies account for more than 65% of Vietnam's market, while the local firm's products only occupy 35% of the market share. The paint and coatings industry is reported the stable growth thanks to the positive development of the construction field in recent times.Financially, total sales of KOVA CO., LTD fluctuated between VND 1.2 trillion and VND 1.4 trillion from FYE 31 Mar 2021 to FYE 31 Mar 2023. COGS was low, accounting for below 60% of total revenue in the five last years. Besides, operating expenditures were managed closely and effectively, bringing about impressive ratios of return on net sales and return on investment. Both business efficiency and investment performance were appreciated.Thanks to good business result, equity was expanded annually. As of FYE 31 Mar 2023, equity posted VND 2.5 trillion, financing over 91% of total assets. It showed that the company's liability ratio was low. It had financial resources to cover all financial obligations. The financial structure and payment capacity were satisfactory.
