GASK Uzagrosugurta JSC (Uzbekistan)

GASK Uzagrosugurta JSC, located in Tashkent, was established on February 25, 1997, by Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan №1713. The company has a century-long history, tracing back to the establishment of the Main Directorate of State Insurance (Gosstrakh) on October 6, 1921, which was the sole provider of insurance services in the former Soviet Union. As the successor of Gosstrakh, Uzagrosugurta JSC is currently the leading participant in the insurance market of Uzbekistan. Under the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to accelerate the reform of state enterprises and the privatization of state property," the company is undergoing a transformation process. As part of this transformation, the company has rebranded and has been operating under the Uzinsurance brand of goods and services since June 22, 2021. The company's reform focuses on the principle of prioritizing the interests of each client and ensuring openness and transparency in consumer protection. Uzinsurance provides quality insurance services across the country, including in remote areas. With 187 insurance centers and 179 agent points throughout Uzbekistan, the company offers convenient and fast customer service. The authorized capital of the company is approximately 109 billion soums. Uzinsurance offers over 100 types of insurance services to both legal entities and individuals in all 17 classes of general insurance.
