Velta PrAT is a reliable insurance company located in Kyiv, Ukraine. It was incorporated in 1993 and has been operating in the insurance market since then. The company initially focused on insuring banking risks and later expanded to include insurance for the financial liability of carriers in mandatory delivery of goods to customs. Velta PrAT also played a significant role in the reinsurance of the unsuccessful launch of the Zenit-2 rocket in September 1998. In 2000, the company started offering insurance services for clinical trials of medical products, which allowed it to establish international partnerships with numerous pharmaceutical companies and contract research organizations in the United States, Germany, England, France, Italy, and Japan, including through international brokers such as Howden, Marsh, AON, Willis, and JLT. In 2003, Velta PrAT obtained a license to provide insurance for the civil liability of nuclear facility operators in the event of nuclear incidents. The company became a member of the "Nuclear Insurance Pool of Ukraine" and has been successfully operating in this field. Insuring nuclear liability requires financial stability and reliability due to the significant amount of liability involved. Currently, Velta PrAT offers a wide range of insurance services for both voluntary and mandatory types of insurance. Their insurance products provide reliable protection for businesses, property, health, and liability.
