Public Joint Stock Company "Settlement Center for Servicing Contracts in Financial Markets" (hereinafter referred to as the Settlement Center) is a clearing institution according to the Law of Ukraine "On Capital Markets and Organized Commodity Markets". Based on the license of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, the Settlement Center carries out clearing activities for determining obligations and, in accordance with paragraph 6 of the Final and Transitional Provisions of the Law of Ukraine "On Capital Markets and Organized Commodity Markets", until January 1, 2023, has the right, based on a license for clearing activities for determining obligations, to carry out clearing activities of a central counterparty for transactions regarding securities. The Settlement Center has a modern infrastructure that ensures the efficient provision of a full range of services. The infrastructure includes the availability of appropriate technological premises, communication tools, information protection means, a modern software and technological complex, and ensures the quality provision of services to clients at the level of world standards. The operational day of the Settlement Center is from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. During the operational day, the Settlement Center: - Receives clients, incoming documents, and issues documents in paper form; - Registers, verifies, reconciles, records, and controls operations with their reflection in the clearing accounting system of the Settlement Center; - Services clearing participants, forms and processes flows of electronic documents circulating in the clearing accounting system of the Settlement Center. The software operates in automatic and semi-automatic modes; - Executes orders of clearing participants in the clearing accounting system, except for orders to block clearing assets for trading on the organized capital market. Execution of an order of a clearing participant to block clearing assets for trading on the organized capital market is carried out by the Settlement Center during the operational day from 9:30 am to 5:20 pm. The Settlement Center closes the operational day after completing the following procedures: - Completion of processing all information on transactions regarding securities received by the Settlement Center from operators of the organized capital market; - Formation and sending of clearing completion reports to clearing participants for the current operational day; - Formation of the clearing accounting system balance based on the results of the current operational day. Based on a notification from a clearing participant, the operational day of the Settlement Center may be extended.
