Yonyu Plastics Co., Ltd. (Taiwan, China)

Formerly known as Yonyu Plastics Work , Yonyu Plastics Co., Ltd. was founded in May 1965, specializing in coloring plastic resin. In 1984 it changed the company registered name to Yonyu Plastics Co., Ltd. and moved to ther current Tainan location. It expanded facilities on the 13,000 sq. meter site to meet growing market demands. In 1995 Taiwan facility received ISO-9002 certification from NACCB U.K. In July 1996 Yonyu Plastics went public with shares available on Taiwan's Over-the-Counter stock market. In 1997 it established China production facility, Yonyu Plastics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., for production supply to customers outside Taiwan. In 199 Taiwan facility received ISO-9001 certification from NACCB U.K. In 2000 the company transfered from Taiwan's Over-the-Counter to the TAIEX Public Stock Market. Yonyu Plastics provides plastic containers, plastic closures, plastic tubes and cable fasteners. The company's plastic containers, closures and tubes are applied in the packaging of cosmetics, household goods, foods, medicines, oil products and others. The company's cable fasteners are applied in the packaging and fixing of wires of electronic and electrical products, bicycles, machines, automobiles and others. During the year 2009, the company obtained approximately 25%, 24%, 21% and 18% of its revenue from the sale of its plastic tubes, plastic containers, cable fasteners and plastic closures, respectively. The company distributes its products within Taiwan's domestic market and to overseas markets, including the rest of Asia.
