Formerly known as Huafu Industry, Huafu Science and Technology was founded in 1954 beginning with the production of commodity plastics, nylon fishing line. Then it undertook the production of televisions, washing machines and other plastic parts. In 1979 the nylon fishing line was listed out to set up Hai Yu.In 1988 it went public. In 1997 it stepped into the magnesium alloy business.In 1999 it began to major in Mg co-oriented industry. In 2000 it changed its name to Huafu Science and Technology. In 2004 it went listed. Huafu main business contains magnesium alloy injection molding parts, aluminium die casting, aluminium-magnesium alloy stamping, mold manufacturing and processing, and magnesium, aluminium, zinc, copper alloy surface treatment.
