VIVOTEK INC., established in Taiwan in 2000, has quickly grown into a prestigious leading manufacturer in the network video surveillance industry. In 2006, VIVOTEK (TAIEX: 3454) was listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. VIVOTEK spun off its SoC division into a wholly-owned subsidiary in 2007, namely VATICS, which focuses on multimedia SoC development and sales. In 2005 VIVOTEK launched the first self-developed multimedia SoC (VVTK-1000), and used it in its 7000-series surveillance products.
