Vate Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in April 1988 as the first professional IC testing factory in Taiwan. In 1995 it obtained ISO9002 certificate and in 1997 it was listed in OTC. Vate is primarily engaged in integrated circuit (IC) testing and packaging, as well as testing of central processing units (CPUs). The company provides logic testing services, including testing of logic ICs, such as high pin counts chipsets ICs and communications ICs; power IC testing services, as well as CPU testing services, including testing of CPUs and peripheral products. During the year ended December 31, 2009, CPU testing accounted for approximately 92.46% of the company's total revenue. It operates its businesses principally in Asia and the Americas.
