In 1953 former Tung Ho Textile factory was established as a partnership organization and in 1974 it was listed in Taiwan Stock Exchange. In 2001 the company started business transformation and in 2010 changed the company name as TUNG HO TEXTILE CO., LTD. The company is principally engaged in the dyeing and processing of natural fibers, chemical fibers and polyester cottons. It provides polyester cottons, polyester yarns, composite cottons, polyester granules, blended yarns, mechanical fiber yarns, cotton yarns and specialty yarns, among others. Its products are applied in yarn spinning and the production of nonwoven fabrics. During the year ended December 31, 2009, the company obtained approximately 64.7% and 32.6% of its total revenue from polyester cotton granules and blended yarns, respectively. The company also involves in the provision of commercial and residential property leasing services.
