The Ambassador Hotel,Ltd. (Taiwan, China)

In 1962, the Ambassador Hotel Taipei was incorporated with the goal of establishing the first international-standard hotel in Taiwan with an investment of 60 million capitals. In 1964,the hotel opened its head office on the current site of the Ambassador Hotel Taipei. In 1978, the Ambassador Kaoshiung was founded.Stock The Ambassador Taipei initiated an expansion project to meet the need of increasing inbound business travelers and worldwide economic rejuvenation. In 1981 the Ambassador Kaoshiung opened officially. In 1982 its shares were listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. In 2000 the hotels obtained ISO 9002 quality certification and became the first five-star tourist hotel to have this honor in northern Taiwan. In 2001, the Ambassador Hsinchu opened and joined the group. The Ambassador Hotel Kaohsiung received the Five Star Hotel Mark from the Tourism Bureau in November 2010; it is the only and the first hotel in Kaohsiung region to be awarded with such honor. During reviews by the Tourism Bureau, all aspects of the Ambassador Hotel Kaohsiung received approval from the experts, including hotel architecture, design, management, tourism and media; the hotel passed the reviewing process with flying colors and received the Five Star Hotel Mark to become the pioneering model of Five Star hotels in Taiwan.
