Taiyen Biotech Co., Ltd. was established in 1952, under the salt Commission of Ministry of Economic Affairs. In 1953, it changed to belong to Treasury Salt Administration. In 1966 it adopted a comprehensive salt iodization, and set up new marketing and new salt storage bases, so that the salt industry can be in a sustainable growth. In 1975, it completed the new ion exchange membrane dialysis legal of the salt of the Tong Xiao salt production plant. In 1977 Anshun Plant moved to Tainan salt factory.
